Mackenzie & Joey Wedding Flowers

Well we just completed the largest wedding to date that we have ever done.  It had its moments but over all I think it turned out just beautiful.  I met with Mackenzie, Joey and Celeste (family friend and acting coordinator) back in November.  We discussed their vision of a Vintage Glam wedding using blush, ivory and pale pink flowers with lots of crystals.  Since our initial meeting I also met with them 2 times at the site to see what else might be needed.  The biggest hurdle for me was when I saw the bridesmaid’s dresses (there were 11 bridesmaids).  All of the colors we had originally chosen did not work with the blush dresses so we had to rethink our color choices.  Once the colors were chosen things went fairly smooth.  The day of the wedding we worked for 6 hours setting up the site.  Here are some pictures from a few days prior till the final set up.

A big Thank You to my right hand Katrina (my daughter) who I could not have done this without her.  My husband Harold who I am so thankful for.  He helped with set up and came back to help me take down this wedding.  He also did countless other things in the weeks and days prior.  Thank you Lisa for holding down the shop.  For Diane, Cody & Taylor (our new family members) thank you for all of your help.  To my mom who at the last minute when I decided that I didn’t want the personals so early came and brought them to me.  Without all of these people I could have never pulled this off.

Here area  few pictures of what our fridge looked like after receiving all the flowers, had all the arrangements sitting ready to be transported and what it looks like prior to set up.

Inside the cooler we had buckets and buckets of hydrangea. On the shelves are pre greened centerpieces.

A look into our fridge with all the flowers ready to go. The yellow & blue flowers are another wedding we had the same day.

Country Wedding

Old fashioned wedding in a big barn.  They brought in long wood tables with a mixture of plates & flatware.  Bride looked so cute in her short light pink dress with cowboy boots.  One of my favorite weddings this year.

Busy past month with all of these beautiful weddings.

Renewal of Wedding Vows

Billy & Tim renewed their wedding vows on July 3rd.  Here are pictures by Sells Photography of that event.

May Weddings

Wow didn’t realize it’s been a month since our last post.  May was pretty busy with weddings, Mother’s Day, prom and personally moving into a new house.

…and so Wedding Season Begins

When we start wedding season we start it with a “big bang”.  Our first wedding was at Ponte on Friday, April 22nd.  Miriam’s wedding was a large wedding with 21 centerpieces, arbor piece, kissing balls and bouquets.

We then had 2 weddings on Saturday, April 23rd.  Stephanie’s wedding was yellow roses, sunflowers and black ostrich feathers.  Her wedding was out at Camp Pendelton.  Diana had her wedding at the Grand Tradition – Beverly Mansion here in Fallbrook.  Her colors where mostly purple but for the ceremony area she wanted lots of color (and that’s what she got).  Below are pictures from all of the weddings.
