It’s About Time

Well it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to sit down and add new pictures to my blog.  Here are some all the way back from December to the ones I took just yesterday.  So far 2012 has been a really busy year for us and as we head into wedding season it’s just going to get more crazy.  No complaints…maybe a little over whelmed but I’m not complaining.

Have lots of pictures to share so I will put them in different entries.  Here are some of the bridal bouquets I’ve done.

Wow didn’t realize it’s been a month since our last post.  May was pretty busy with weddings, Mother’s Day, prom and personally moving into a new house.

Busy 5 wedding weekend!

Set up 2 weddings on Friday & 2 on Saturday with a delivery of personal flowers on Sunday.  Stephanie’s wedding at Grand Tradition Arbor Terrace on Friday.  I did Stephanie’s sister Jessica’s wedding last July.  My daughter Katrina helped me set up this wedding.  After the set up we headed back to the shop and packed up for Ashley’s wedding at Pala Mesa.  Ashley’s centerpieces had live Beta fish in the tall pilsner vases.  Saturday morning started early at the shop getting ready for Kristin’s wedding at Zion Lutheren Church.  Kristin played field hockey with my daughter Trisha.  I love it when I get to do weddings for girls I saw growing up.  After setting up this wedding we packed up for Danielle’s wedding at Ponte.  Danielle is another sister of a former bride.  The last wedding was a delivery of personal flowers (sorry no pictures of this one).

Weddings from September 19th

Katie’s bouquet was made of white w/purple mini calla lilies, purple calla lilies, lavender stock, purple mokara orchids and stephanotis.

Brittany’s bouquet was very garden like (since she got married in her mother’s garden). She had white stock, white roses, yellow freesia and bluperium.

Samara’s bouquet was all white with asiatic lilies, freesia and lisanthus.

Samara’s cake had white lisanthus, white freesia and green hydrangea.

Samara’s wedding was at the La Valencia in La Jolla. Here are one of the 3 different centerpieces she had.

I had a pick up wedding those I consider 1/2’s since I don’t have to deliver and set up anything.  Rebecca’s flowers where blue hydrangea & ivory roses.

The wedding that I delivered and set up was at South Coast Winery.  Pretty cool centerpieces with glowing vases with an arrangement on top.  I also took a picture of their cake it was so fun.  I didn’t get any pictures of Lindsay’s wedding I hope to get some from her later.
