Kari’s wedding was beautiful.  It was a lot of hard work but I think it really paid off in the end.  I think that she was happy with it.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Weekend of August 14 & 15 August 22, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Sheri @ 4:15 am

What a crazy weekend.  I really only have pictures from Jenni’s Friday wedding.  It was held down at the Coronado Community Center.  Her bright orange and green color combo was so fun and looked great at the location.

Can you believe it I only have one picture from the other 3 weddings that we had on Saturday.  What a crazy day.  It started at 7 am when I went to the shop to create Anais’ bouquet.  I left a little after 9 with my daughter and we went to Anais & George’s wedding to start hanging fabric.  This took us over 2 hours and we still were not quite through.  We came back to Fallbrook and picked up the flowers for Anais’ wedding and Ryan’s wedding at Falkner winery.  We first went to Anais’ wedding and finished the fabric, then went out to the ceremony site and set up the vases and the chair decor.  The vases fell once and we filled them full with water to make them heavy.  We waited until just before the ceremony to place them back on the pillars.  After most of the guest were seated we placed the vases back on the stands. While we were in finishing the reception flowers the vases fell again and the groomsmen were tyring to pick them up.  I didn’t want this to happen during the ceremony so I just stood them up against the stands on the ground I was so disappointed.  I have used this set up before and even in the wind and never had a vase fall over.  These were new vases and after comparing them to the vases I usually use they are not as heavy.  I think next time I will have to put rocks in the bottom of them.

After the wedding had started and we finished the reception set up we drove to Falkner.  I walked in the resturant door and one of the bridesmaids had just walked out of the bride’s room to come and find me for their flowers…what great timing.  Ryan had a beautiful bouquet of all green flowers and greenery.  I hope that I am able to get some pictures.  We then drove down to the ceremony site and set it up.  Then back to the resturant to do the quick centerpieces.  We ended up leaving Falkner around 5:30.

On the way back I called Leslie to see how the wedding she was setting up was going.  She and my mom set up over at Pala Mesa.  We didn’t get pictures of that wedding either so hopefully the bride will let me know where I can get some.

I’m just thankful that last weekend is over and some how I surrvived.

Megan’s wedding at Paridise Gardens August 22, 2009

Paradise Gardens is in Oceanside in a secluded area with a beautiful waterfall, pond and lots of grass area.  This was a specail wedding for me because I did Megan’s sister Tracy’s wedding a couple of years ago.  At the wedding I got to see Tracy again but this time she looked a little different…must have been that pregnant belly that made her look different…but what a beautiful glowing mother to be.  I saw Megan when she arrived and she seemed very relaxed.  Later as her and her bridesmaids wondered around the venue taking pictures with the photographer I got a glimps of her and she looked stunning.  I just love it when I get to do a sybling’s wedding and I see one of my brides from the past.

Temecula Valleys Wedding Proffesional Winer Tour August 22, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Sheri @ 3:42 am

On August 4th the TVWP’s hosted a wine tour for other area bridal coordinator and vendors.  It was in an effort to introduce Temecula Valley Wine Country as a ‘Destination’ wedding spot.  There was a progressive dinner at 3 of the wineries South Coast Winery, Wilson Creek Winery and Falkner Winery.  The evening ended at Oak Meadows (an event and wedding site) with dessert and coffee.  Each venue was set up like a wedding and reception.  I did the ceremony site for Oak Meadows.  Below are the pictures from there.

It was a great evening.  I think that everyone had a wonderful time.

2nd wedding for Saturday August 3, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Sheri @ 3:09 pm

After setting up the wedding at Carmel Mountain my mom and I drove to Falkner Winery out in Temecula.  Leslie & Diane had just gotten there and were unloading the van.  We took all of ceremony stuff from their van and put it in my car and headed down to the ceremony site.  Diane & Leslie stayed at the Pinnacle and set up the centerpieces.  This was the first time that I had put the 2 side arch pieces on the top corners instead of on the sides of the arch.  I really think it came out pretty.  I loved Jessica & Chris’ color choices.  The shades of dark purples and greens really looked nice with the venue.  Here are some pictures I hope you enjoy.

1st Saturday wedding at Carmel Mountain August 3, 2009

Bright and beautiful wedding at Carmel Mountain golf course on Saturday.  Carlie & Shantel had an interesting combination of colors that I haven’t seen before.  The dresses were a dark/royal blue with tangerine orange around the bottom and on the sashes.  Their centerpieces were white & orange calla lilies in river rock with blue marbles.  Then I sprinkled crystals around the square vase.  Their ceremony was out on the greens by a small pond with a waterfall.  The ceremony pieces were tall square vases with white, orange and green calla lilies.  They reused these on their head tables.

2 1/2 weddings on Saturday July 28, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Sheri @ 4:38 am

I had a pick up wedding those I consider 1/2’s since I don’t have to deliver and set up anything.  Rebecca’s flowers where blue hydrangea & ivory roses.

The wedding that I delivered and set up was at South Coast Winery.  Pretty cool centerpieces with glowing vases with an arrangement on top.  I also took a picture of their cake it was so fun.  I didn’t get any pictures of Lindsay’s wedding I hope to get some from her later.

Hot Hot Weekend July 18-19 July 28, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Sheri @ 2:27 am

It was so hot that weekend.  I did a lot of praying that the flowers would survive the heat.  Melissa’s ceremony was on Saturday in a church with her reception in her parent’s backyard.  The bt pink and black looked great together.

Jennifer’s wedding was Falkner Winery in The Garden, all outside.  I tried not to put out her arrangements too early.  I loved the way that the cake turned out.  I really like the cascade style.
